Description Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and experienced Commercial Shingle Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial roofing systems while working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the ability to work at heights, use roofing tools and equipment, and follow all company and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and replace commercial shingle roofing systems. Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations. Measure, cut, and install shingles, underlayment, flashing, and related roofing components.
Inspect roofs for damage, leaks, and structural concerns. Perform roof maintenance and repairs as needed. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer specifications. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
Work collaboratively with crew members, supervisors, and project managers.
Required Qualifications
Previous commercial roofing experience preferred. Experience with asphalt shingle installation and repair. Ability to read tape measures and follow job specifications.
Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions. Ability to lift 50–75 pounds regularly. Knowledge of roofing safety practices and fall protection systems.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Valid driver's license. Physical
Requirements
Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, and standing. Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces. Ability to lift and carry roofing materials and equipment.
Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, and varying weather conditions.
