POSITION SUMMARY: The Sanitation Manager is responsible for the overall sanitation of the facility and it’s equipment, supply management for the department to reduce/control cost. Implement employee safety and food safety initiatives.
Manage small hourly employee crew, implementing culture to develop good supportive work environments. Support company policies and procedures to drive excellence. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Inventory management, documentation, interpretation of data, mathematical formulas, leadership, policy enforcement, master sanitation schedule, SQF, SSOPs and other duties assigned by the business.
COMPETENCIES: Mathematical skills, data documentation, mechanical skills, organization and multitasking skills, communication, chemical safety, 7 steps of sanitation. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Required Education: High school or equivalent or minimum 5 years sanitation experience Required Experience: Understanding of basic sanitation operations, chemical safety, inventory management knowledge, mechanical skills.
