Position Overview The Project Coordinator – Construction, supports the planning and execution of branch expansions, new location openings, relocations, renovations, and facility improvement projects across the organization. This position partners closely with Construction, Facilities, Operations, Real Estate, vendors, contractors, and internal business leaders to ensure projects remain on schedule and move efficiently from planning through completion. Candidates should have prior experience coordinating construction, facilities, commercial build-outs, branch expansions, retail openings, or similar physical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate activities supporting branch expansions, relocations, new facility openings, renovations, and other commercial construction projects. Maintain project schedules, timelines, meeting agendas, action items, and project documentation. Partner with Construction, Facilities, Operations, Real Estate, Procurement, vendors, architects, contractors, and consultants throughout each project lifecycle.
Schedule project meetings and track milestones to ensure projects remain on schedule. Follow up with internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding outstanding deliverables and project timelines. Assist with tracking project budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and project-related expenses.
Monitor project progress and proactively communicate schedule risks, delays, and roadblocks to project leadership. Support operational readiness activities to ensure new and relocated branches are prepared for successful openings. Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
Maintain organized project files, documentation, permits, contracts, and project records. Assist with project closeout activities, lessons learned, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Support additional facilities and construction initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Facilities Management, or related field, or equivalent experience. 2–4 years of experience coordinating commercial construction, facilities, branch expansion, retail development, renovations, or capital improvement projects. Experience working directly with contractors, vendors, architects, consultants, or construction teams.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines. Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting multi-site retail, showroom, branch, distribution, manufacturing, or commercial facility projects. Experience within the construction, building materials, building products, manufacturing, or distribution industries. com, or similar tools.
CAPM certification or progress toward certification is a plus. Skills & Competencies Strong project coordination and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously. Effective communication with internal teams, vendors, and contractors. Strong problem-solving and follow-through.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Professionalism and customer service mindset. Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel.
Location & Travel Candidates must reside within the Midwest or Eastern United States. Ability to travel approximately 50–70% to support branch expansions, facility renovations, and new location openings.
