How to Use JobMinglr With Your Existing Pinpoint Configuration

Hirey Stilez·January 20, 2027

Already using Pinpoint? Here's how JobMinglr layers on top of your existing configuration without disrupting what's already working.

One of the questions we hear most from Pinpoint customers is: 'We already have our hiring process set up exactly how we want it. Does adding JobMinglr mean rebuilding anything?' The answer is no. JobMinglr is designed to work with your existing Pinpoint setup, feeding candidates into the stages you've already configured rather than requiring you to adopt a new workflow.

Here's what the integration actually looks like in practice and how to get the most out of it without disrupting your existing process.

How the connection works

When a JobMinglr candidate mutually matches with one of your posted roles, their profile is pushed into your Pinpoint pipeline at a stage you configure during setup. Most customers choose to have JobMinglr candidates appear in a dedicated 'JobMinglr Match' stage at the top of the funnel, separate from candidates sourced through other channels.

This separation is valuable for measurement: you can see conversion rates, time-to-offer, and hire quality specifically for JobMinglr-sourced candidates compared to other sources. Over time, that data tells you a lot about where JobMinglr fits in your overall sourcing strategy.

Mapping your Pinpoint stages

During integration setup, you'll map your existing Pinpoint stages to the JobMinglr workflow. The most common configuration: candidates enter at 'Application Review,' progress to 'Phone Screen,' then your standard interview stages. You keep full control over what happens at each stage - JobMinglr just handles the initial match and hands off to Pinpoint.

If you use custom Pinpoint stages or non-standard configurations, our integration supports that. The setup wizard walks through your stage list and lets you specify exactly where JobMinglr candidates should enter and how status updates flow back to keep both systems in sync.

Getting the most from both platforms

Customers who see the strongest results from the JobMinglr-Pinpoint combination typically do three things: they keep their Pinpoint job descriptions updated and synced, they respond quickly to new JobMinglr matches (within 48 hours), and they track candidate source in their Pinpoint reports to measure JobMinglr's contribution over time.

If you're seeing strong quality but slow volume, check that your JobMinglr job preferences are set broadly enough to surface more candidates. If you're seeing volume but lower quality, tighten the match criteria in your JobMinglr employer preferences. Both platforms give you levers to tune the pipeline quality. The data you generate in Pinpoint is the best guide to which levers to pull.
