It’s both challenging work and work with a purpose. Be a part of our successful, growing business during international transformation. Position Summary The Senior Accountant will play a central role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, with a key focus on our international offices.
Responsibilities
will involve accounting tasks such as reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with local and global financial regulations. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless financial processes while identifying improvement and efficiency opportunities.
: Perform daily transactional data for our international entities' relevant payable, receivable, credit card, and cash activity. Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for our international entities in compliance with local and global accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP). Assist in consolidating financial results from international entities into the corporate financial statements.
Cross-train within the accounting team and serve as a backup resource for core accounting operations as needed. This may include, but is not limited to: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, Account Reconciliations, Journal Entries. To ensure accurate financial reporting, manage intercompany reconciliations, including allocations, eliminations, and foreign exchange impacts.

Assist with the month-end and quarter-end close processes for international entities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Reconcile balance sheets, P&L accounts, and make necessary adjustments for variances in accordance with accounting policies.

Act as the liaison in external audit efforts, specifically serving as the primary point of contact for international audit and external financial statement preparation Provide analytical or project support on initiatives that fall outside routine accounting operations. Apply general accounting skills across both US and international entities, providing US support wherever the team’s workload requires it.
Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase the efficiency and accuracy of international accounting functions.
Minimum Qualifications
: A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification are preferred. Five years of accounting experience, preferably in a SAAS or technology sector with elements of international focus. Ability to translate complex accounting and intercompany transactions into journal entries and accounting reconciliations.
Knowledge of subscription metrics (MRR, ARR, churn) and SaaS financial modeling is preferred. Familiarity with NetSuite and Maxio is preferred. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
