This role is responsible for performing Release of Information (ROI) functions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and Datavant standards.
This position will primarily support the Health Information Management (HIM) departments at both locations and may provide on-site coverage as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Process medical record release requests in accordance with HIPAA regulations Handle patient, attorney, insurance, and third-party requests Maintain accuracy and productivity standards Provide excellent customer service to patients and facility staff Work across multiple EMR systems Resolve complex issues while maintaining professionalism Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of protected health information Preferred Skills &
Qualifications
Strong customer service and customer-facing experience High attention to detail Ability to resolve complex issues independently Dependable and team-oriented Experience working in healthcare or HIM environments Comfortable working across multiple EMR systems 💰
High School Diploma or GED required • Must be 18 years of age or older To ensure the safety of patients and staff, many of our clients require post-offer health screenings and proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot, Tdap, COVID-19, etc.
