JOB SUMMARY: We have an immediate need for a Test Analyst to support the organization and execution of Flight and Ground Tests. This role is responsible for assessing test success, identifying required resources, developing mission objectives, creating data archival and analysis plans, and preparing post-mission reports. The position also supports test coordination, configuration management, test architecture development, and event execution across integrated test activities.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Support the organization and participation in Flight and Ground Tests. Identify required resources for test activities. Develop and understand mission objectives for systems under test.
Develop data archival and analysis plans. Prepare post-mission reports. Support and navigate event board approval structures, including MDIOC and BMDSS support processes, the MDA/BC approval chain, and National Team engineering boards (PERB, CEAT).
Support configuration management and control of test resources, articles, and data collection tools. Serve as the Integration and Test (I&T) liaison to other test participants and test managers. Coordinate with project leads of various experiments to support event execution across the I&T mission.
Develop and maintain the test architecture, including all articles under test. Develop supplemental procedures needed for successful test execution. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Understanding of systems engineering processes and logistics principles, including artifact generation such as: Specifications Interface Control Documents (ICDs) System Architecture Descriptions Use Cases Trade Studies Understanding of systems engineering, systems design, and development.
Experience working in an integrated team environment with systems, software, and specialty engineers using NT or similar processes and methods. Ability to develop briefings and communicate complex technical concepts in writing. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
