Coordinate the target architecture across multiple projects, ensuring long-term platform stability, and take part in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning, retrospectives). Monitor emerging technologies and Adobe Commerce ecosystem developments, sharing insights and recommending adoption where relevant.

Mentor engineers and fellow architects, and collaborate actively with the global Valtech developer community.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of Adobe Commerce (Magento) architectures for complex, large-scale implementations, and participate in the initial planning and execution of projects' most complex features.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential

: Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead working with Adobe Commerce / Magento (Open Source and/or Commerce Cloud). Strong understanding of e-commerce architecture: catalog, checkout, payments, order management, and third-party integrations (ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS). Solid grasp of PHP and the Magento/Adobe Commerce technology stack, including customisation, extensions, and best practices.

Experience designing solutions for performance, scalability, and security in high-traffic commerce environments. Ability to communicate architectural and business trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Track record of leading or significantly contributing to complex, multi-stakeholder delivery programs.
