JOB SUMMARY: The Global Integration Engineer (NGMD) is responsible for integrating and supporting JEMINI Lab test suites within a development and test environment. This role partners closely with software development teams to investigate and resolve system issues, support prototype and test configurations, and ensure successful integration of system components. The engineer applies advanced expertise in Linux, scripting, automation, and software testing to troubleshoot complex technical challenges, analyze system data, and improve operational efficiency through automation.
Working with minimal direction, this position also contributes to system documentation reviews, develops troubleshooting procedures, and serves as a key representative of the Integration team on significant technical efforts. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Integrate JEMINI Lab test suites in the development lab. Assist software development personnel with investigation and resolution of issues.
Develop configurations to support testing and prototypes of developing systems. Create and modify scripts to perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data. Troubleshoot test and prototype issues.
Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documentation. Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development documentation, test documentation, and network documentation as needed. Represent the Integration team.
Automate scripting to configure and maintain remote hosts. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Applies extensive expertise and solves complex problems requiring regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Works with minimal direction and is reviewed primarily on desired results over a longer-term perspective.
May function in project leadership roles and represent the organization as the primary customer contact on significant technical matters. Other degrees may be considered when combined with strong software testing, software engineering, or integration experience.
