About The Role
Twitch is a globally renowned brand with a dedicated following across the world. Localization is at the heart of our mission to connect creators with their communities on a global scale. We're looking for a Localization Program Manager to own the operational core of our localization program — vendor coordination, content workflows, quality processes, and launch execution across 29 languages.
You'll join a lean team of senior professionals who operate as strategic partners to Product and Engineering and focus on bringing global users a native experience. Strong performers can take on increasing scope over time. You can work from San Francisco, CA; Irvine, CA; Seattle, WA.
You Will: Manage end-to-end localization into 29 languages, including launches that require creative asset localization, terminology building and testing Monitor continuous localization operations while identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement. Run and evolve localization quality processes: coordinate testing, build LQA workflows and propose improvements based on data. Monitor and improve translation quality output by developing and maintaining linguistic assets Influence upstream content operations for seamless, context-rich translations.
Build localization metrics reports (turnaround, quality scores, cost per word) You Have: 5+ years of localization project/program management experience Experience managing stakeholders and cross-organizational dependencies Experience with enterprise localization tools, translation management platforms (Smartling, memoQ, Phrase or similar), and developing and maintaining linguistic assets and workflows Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication Native speaker of one additional language Bonus Points An analytical mindset, with the ability to visualize data, connect the dots, and turn localization insights into decisions that drive business and tooling outcomes.
