We’re looking for a UI/UX and Design Analyst who is passionate about user-centered design, research, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

This role also provides the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical systems supporting the Department of Homeland Security while expanding your experience across the full design lifecycle - from discovery and usability testing through implementation, iteration, and continuous product improvement.
Responsibilities
: Design Sprints & User Research: Plan and conduct design sprints, end-user research, usability testing, and reviews. Analyze user data to inform design decisions, ensuring that products are both user-friendly and compliant with client objectives. , Microsoft Windows presentation screens).
Create intuitive, efficient, and accessible designs that enhance user experiences. Prototype Testing & Evaluation: Conduct studies, testing, and evaluation of screen prototypes for functionality, ease of use, efficiency, and accuracy. Iterate designs based on feedback to refine and perfect the user interface.
Workflow Design: Design user experiences for new and existing web-based applications from concept to completion. Develop workflows and experiences that are intuitive, effective, and accessible, ensuring seamless interaction for the end user. Visual Communication: Communicate ideas effectively through low and high-fidelity mockups.
Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to improve the final product. Long-Term UI/UX Vision: Develop both short-term and long-term UI/UX visions for products, ensuring consistency and coherence across the user experience. Collaborate with developers and analysts to implement approved designs.
Mentorship: May mentor and supervise other team members, providing guidance on best practices in UI/UX design and user research. What Helps Explorers Succeed Here Your Required Skills and Experience: Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a UI/UX designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web-based and client-server application design.
Experience conducting usability testing and user research. Experience in the government sector, particularly within DHS, is highly desirable. Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
