Our goal is to provide a reliable, scalable, and intuitive platform so product teams can focus on delivering great experiences for our customers instead of fighting their tools. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to strengthen and evolve this platform. You will help lead our shift toward shared backend services, improving reliability, performance, and developer experience for high-throughput, transaction-heavy workloads.

You will collaborate closely with product engineering, payments, data, and infrastructure teams to design and deliver platform capabilities that scale with our business. This is a hands-on role with meaningful technical ownership. You will spend most of your time designing and shipping code, while also contributing to architectural decisions, mentoring other engineers, and helping us adopt AI-assisted development practices that make the whole team more effective.

What You'Ll Do

Break down complex platform initiatives into clear, incremental milestones and drive them from design through implementation, rollout, and ongoing improvement. Strengthen observability, on-call readiness, and incident response for platform services so issues can be detected, diagnosed, and resolved quickly and confidently. Contribute high-quality, production-ready code and thoughtful technical design documents, and provide constructive code reviews for your peers.

Use AI-assisted development tools as a normal part of your workflow (for example, for code generation, test authoring, refactoring, and incident analysis) and help the team adopt effective AI-augmented engineering practices. Partner with the team to improve our CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and environment management to make shipping changes safer and faster.
