Position Summary SonicWall is seeking a highly experienced Senior Hardware Compliance Engineer to lead worldwide regulatory compliance activities for network security hardware products, including WLAN/RLAN devices and wireless access points.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will serve as the technical authority and project lead for regulatory compliance activities across the full product lifecycle — from new product introduction (NPI) through sustaining engineering and regional certification maintenance. This role requires extensive cross-functional collaboration with hardware, RF, and firmware engineering teams, as well as product management, manufacturing, test laboratories, certification agencies, and global regulatory authorities.
Drive compliance planning and approvals for new product introductions (NPI) and support sustaining engineering efforts for existing products. Coordinate and manage certifications across major global markets including FCC, ISED, CE/RED, UKCA, ACMA, and Wi-Fi Alliance. Support additional country approvals including India, Japan, Korea, and China.
Work closely with cross-functional global engineering teams to identify regulatory risks early in the design cycle and drive mitigation strategies. Review and approve regulatory test plans, test reports, declarations, and certification documentation. Manage external compliance labs, consultants, certification bodies, and regulatory vendors.
Prepare and manage compliance project budgets, purchase orders, vendor payments, and certification schedules.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field. 8+ years of hands-on hardware regulatory compliance experience in wireless/networking products. 11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be (Wi-Fi 7).
