Sol Systems — Washington, District of Columbia
Sol Systems is seeking a full-time Vice President of People & Administration to join our Executive Team. This is a critical leadership role that integrates strategic vision with operational execution to align people strategy, information technology, and business operations across the organization. This role will report to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities
: People & Culture: Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team on all people-related matters. Lead organizational design and leadership development initiatives. Oversee succession planning and workforce planning to ensure long-term organizational resilience.
Compensation

policies. Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and reflect company values. Monitor changes in employment regulations and proactively advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies.
Leverage data insights to influence people strategy and report results to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders. Provide confidential counsel on sensitive personnel issues, organizational dynamics, and leadership transitions. Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures.

Experience in developing the vision for the IT organization and overseeing the implementation of AI-assisted productivity and performance improvements. Experience leading cultural and engagement programs, including internal events and cross-functional employee initiatives.
Experience evaluating, designing, and implementing new programs. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner with executives and managers across departments. Experience in data analytics.
Location & Hours: This is a full-time role and will be based in our Washington, DC office.
: The base salary for this role is between $200,000 and $250,000 annually, depending on the candidate’s exp
Responsibilities

Administration & Operations: Provide leadership across administrative and shared service functions, including IT, to support organizational growth and operational excellence. Evaluate operational processes, management practices, and infrastructure to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
Foster the adoption of AI tools to improve business processes. Establish performance standards and accountability measures across functions. Ensure operational priorities, program initiatives, and resource allocation align with company strategy, culture, and core values.
Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, resource planning, and organizational priorities. Maintain safe, compliant, and effective workplace operations. A successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: A Master’s Degree is preferred.
10+ years of successful leadership experience. Prior experience in the renewables, energy, or financial services industry. Demonstrated experience with the fundamentals of HR and Administration.
