About The Role
The Electrical Sales Engineer is responsible for developing and growing business opportunities across nuclear power generation and other industrial markets by providing technical sales support for electrical maintenance, testing, installation, outage services, and skilled workforce solutions. This role partners closely with plant leadership, maintenance organizations, and engineering teams to understand customer challenges and deliver tailored service solutions that improve reliability, safety, and operational performance. Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage opportunities from initial engagement through proposal development and project execution.
During scheduled outage seasons, this role may also perform hands-on electrical field service work, supporting installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities at customer sites.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Account Management Develop and maintain relationships with utility customers, plant personnel, engineering organizations, and strategic partners. Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and target new customers throughout assigned territories. Maintain and grow existing customer accounts through proactive relationship management.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting through CRM tools. Support contract negotiations while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction. Technical Sales & Proposal Development Promote electrical maintenance, testing, installation, outage support, and technical workforce services.
Meet with customers to understand operational challenges and recommend technical service solutions.
