We are looking for a dynamic AP Accountant to become a vital part of our vibrant Finance team, working in a hybrid setup in Budapest, Hungary.

As an AP Accountant, you'll own invoice processing and vendor account reconciliations across our global and local operations, supporting month-end close, light office administration, and annual audits.
You'll work closely with managers and accounting specialists across Singapore, Florida (USA), and Texas (USA), plus other finance leaders, giving you direct exposure to how a global finance function runs day to day. Our goal is to have a sophisticated team equipped with expert technical skills in addition to keen business acumen. Each member of our team adds unique value to the business and the customer.

Insight on your impact: Review, seek approval, code and send all local vendor invoices for the Hungarian entity to our Hungarian third-party accounting firm for payment. Participate in the global processing of vendor invoices, including invoice entry, invoice payment, vendor reconciliations and communication with external vendors, internal buyers and internal sellers.
You will be part of the teams located in Singapore and North America. Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with management.
Assist with external audits and coordinate with auditors by providing required documentation.
Requirements
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices. Participate in special projects, system implementations, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications
, your influence: To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills At least 3 years of accounting experience in AP, preferably in medium to large corporate environments. Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar). Good analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage details.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding environment. Good to Excellent command of English and Hungarian language.
