Senior Manager, Information Governance The Senior Manager, Information Governance reports to the Vice President of Operations and provides strategic leadership for enterprise information governance and taxonomy, Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) governance, project information management, and assigned information management resources. This position serves as a strategic partner to the Senior Manager of Records Management and Document Control in establishing an integrated information governance framework that supports regulatory compliance, project execution, EPC collaboration, records lifecycle management, and long-term information stewardship. The Senior Manager, Information Governance is responsible for developing and implementing governance strategies that ensure organizational information is effectively managed, controlled, accessible, and preserved throughout its lifecycle.
This role provides leadership for EDMS capabilities, information management processes, project turnover strategies, Common Data Environment (CDE) strategy, Technical Data Management (TDM), and collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise information governance strategies, standards, procedures, and frameworks. Establish processes to ensure information assets are managed consistently throughout their lifecycle, from creation through retention and final disposition. Partner with business stakeholders to improve information quality, accessibility, usability, and compliance.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance information management practices and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
Lead enterprise Common Data Environment (CDE) and Technical Data Management (TDM) strategies supporting integrated digital engineering and lifecycle information management. Establish governance for technical metadata, master data, taxonomy, and digital information exchanges across enterprise systems. Provide strategic ownership and governance for enterprise EDMS capabilities.
