Nuclear Analysis Engineer TerraPower, LLC. Is seeking a highly motivated Nuclear Design Engineer. The Nuclear Analysis Engineer will support advanced reactor core design and analysis activities, including fuel management, power distribution, reactivity coefficients, control rod worth, shutdown margin, and sensitivity/uncertainty studies.

degree in Nuclear Engineering with 2-10 years’ experience Competitive candidates will typically have the above experience, but less experienced candidates with highly desired experience with be considered on a case-by-case basis Knowledge of basic nuclear reactor design concepts to meaningfully support engineering team with understanding of systems being designed and code being reviewed Experience in core design and analysis including fuel management optimization, reactivity coefficients, shielding and activation, control rod worth and uncertainty analysis.
