About The Role

The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in overseeing the accounting operations.

with forward-looking financial analysis and strategic planning, reporting directly to the assistant controller with significant exposure to the CFO.

What You'Ll Do

: Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements Manage and review account reconciliations, journal entries, balance sheet accounts and tax requests/payments Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and internal control procedures Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits Review work of accounting / shared services staff for accuracy and completeness Collaborate with IT to enhance financial systems and automate manual processes Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as needed

Who You Are

: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, CPA required 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial analysis Big 4 or top 10 accounting firm experience highly preferred Advanced Excel skills (vlookup/pivots/sumifs/financial modeling) Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
