Responsibilities
: Lead end-to-end payroll processing for a multi-national workforce, including hourly, salaried, full-time, and part-time employees Ensure compliance with all provincial, state, federal, and local payroll legislation and regulatory
Requirements
Manage payroll calendars, reconciliations, and year-end activities, including T4s, T4As, RL-1s, and US equivalents Serve as the primary escalation point for complex payroll issues, discrepancies, and employee inquiries Conduct regular payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and data integrity Maintain and continuously improve payroll processes, documentation, and internal controls Build strong cross-functional partnerships internally to support business needs and ensure seamless payroll delivery Demonstrate leadership by providing clear direction, exercising sound judgment, and driving accountability across payroll processes and stakeholders Act as the main point of contact with the external payroll provider, ensuring accurate data exchange, compliance, and issue resolution Support the administration and ongoing improvement of
PCP, CPM, or equivalent designation from the National Payroll Institute preferred Hands-on experience with payroll systems; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an asset Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, solution-oriented approach Proven ability to lead through influence, communicate clearly, and partner effectively across functions Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities Please note this role as a new vacancy.
