EPVMC has well-staffed referral services in Anesthesia, Cardiology, Critical Care, Dentistry, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and Surgery along with a great team of emergency clinicians to offer advanced care to a well-educated and devoted client base. 5T GE MRI, GE Fortis ultrasound, holmium laser, dental suite with cone beam CT and digital dental radiography, and Karl Stortz endoscopy. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Oversee and manage ICU patients, including trauma, sepsis, shock, respiratory distress, metabolic crises, and postoperative critical cases. Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including point-of-care ultrasound, arterial/central line placement, and continuous hemodynamic monitoring. Provide expert guidance on emergency stabilization, triage, and case management for ER and ICU staff.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognoses, and ongoing updates. ) to deliver comprehensive patient care. Lead and participate in CPR events following RECOVER guidelines.
Contribute to the development and improvement of ICU protocols, workflows, and training programs. Mentor and support veterinarians, technicians, and support staff through rounds, case reviews, and teaching opportunities.

Compensation
