Responsibilities

A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience Experience administering Oracle 19c databases in production environments Experience with Oracle database administration in both on-premises and AWS RDS environments Experience designing and implementing database schemas for enterprise applications Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques Experience establishing and maintaining backup and restore procedures for Oracle databases Experience implementing Oracle database security hardening measures Experience with patch management and version upgrades for Oracle databases Experience optimizing database interactions with Java applications Experience integrating databases with search/indexing platforms (Apache Solr experience preferred) Experience troubleshooting complex database issues in production environments Experience implementing compliance controls for government systems (FISMA, FedRAMP, or similar frameworks) Experience deploying and maintaining database monitoring tools Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation for database systems Some of your day-to-day activities include but not limited to: You will be responsible for database creation, schema design and implementation, performance tuning, and establish robust backup and restore procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
