com Job summary We are building the trust layer for the agentic future. As AI agents move from simple chatbots to autonomous workloads with access to sensitive enterprise data, the industry lacks a standard for Identity, Authentication, and Governance. As an Associate Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of security infrastructure that helps define how AI agents are identified and controlled.
Working alongside experienced engineers, cryptographers, and AI innovators, you will help build secure, scalable systems that ensure agent actions are authenticated, authorized, and safe. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience building enterprise-grade security and AI infrastructure.
What You Will Do
Collaborate with industry-leading cryptographers, AI/ML innovators, cloud infrastructure experts, and security engineers who are shaping the future of secure digital interactions. Contribute to the development of identity and authentication services that help establish trusted identities for AI workloads. Assist in building and maintaining systems that support secure agent interactions and authorization controls.
Help implement governance and policy enforcement mechanisms that manage how AI agents access tools, data, and services. Participate in designing, testing, and improving secure, scalable cloud-native infrastructure. Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews, testing, and engineering best practices.
Learn and grow through mentorship from senior engineers while developing expertise in security, distributed systems, and AI infrastructure. Collaborate across engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and deliver new features. What you will have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
0–3 years of professional software engineering experience (including internships, co-ops, research projects, or academic experience). Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Go, Rust, Java, Python, or C++. Foundational understanding of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems concepts.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP through coursework, internships, personal projects, or professional experience. Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus. Interest in learning about cloud security, identity infrastructure, distributed systems, and AI technologies.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
