Lead Shopper - DC5

🥜 In a nutshell As a Lead Shopper, you are the fore(wo)man of your team of Shoppers. You are responsible to guide, motivate and train the team you are working with. We expect you to lead by example by performing shopper activities, just like any other team member!

In the process you are the first person of contact for our shift leads regarding your area and you are responsible to keep the process running smoothly and the area clean. Are you up for a new challenge in a new DC, this is your chance! We have different lead shopper roles, one example of them is lead shopper TU picking.

In this role you are responsible for the picking circuit in one temperature area. During the shift you join the shoppers by doing the same tasks as them, but in the meantime you make sure the rest of the pickers are also active. If there are new colleagues in your loops you’ll make sure they get the training and coaching.

During and at the end of your shift you ensure the circuit is clean and safe. The goal is to have the entire team start and end the shift with a smile! In order to become a true specialist, you will be working in one process (inbound or outbound) area for a longer period.

You will work together with the supervisor to help ensure our processes run smoothly. This is a great opportunity to shape our new Fruits and Vegetables DC and thus the future of Picnic while you display your drive to advance at Picnic!

What You’Ll Do

Lead by example: work together with the team on shopper activities Guide a team of 5-10 shoppers Take responsibility for your area and team, making sure it’s safe, clean and productive Motivate and provide feedback to the shoppers on your shift 🌟About you You like to help your colleagues improve their knowledge and skills You take responsibility easily and enjoy taking care of an area You have at least 6 months of experience at Picnic Available for a minimum of 32 hours Available to work the Day shift (06:00-15:00) or Afternoon Shift (16:00-01:00) Fixed weekly schedule Available on at least one weekend day per week Fluency in English 📖 Picnic
