This role is based in our Los Angeles headquarters.
Responsibilities
: Event marketing Create digital invitations, RSVP materials (including splash pages and confirmation emails), print and digital signage for IndieWire’s slate of FYC and Future of Filmmaking events and summits. Liaise with business and editorial teams to build out invite lists for FYC and consumer/Future of Filmmaking events. Conduct grassroots outreach to filmmaker organizations and educational institutions to expand IndieWire’s reach with emerging filmmakers and students Manage barter relationships with unions, guilds, film organizations, festivals, and more Support Director of Events with onsite marketing and event logistics as needed, bringing IndieWire brand to life in the room.
Sales marketing Collaborate with the sales team to develop media kits, client pitch decks, custom proposals, house ads, and campaign wrap reports. Editorial & brand marketing. Work with marketing and editorial to create original art, graphics, and other visual creative assets for stories, site pages, email and social media.
Requirements
) or breaking news Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Understanding of the IndieWire brand and independent film community it champions Event marketing background is a plus. Experience with online registration/ticketing platforms a plus Graphic design skills a plus, including knowledge of Canva Experience with film festivals, guilds, entertainment events in Los Angeles a huge plus As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture. Typical wage $25hr.
