Responsibilities
Maintain 24/7 operations of a groundwater treatment system located at Kirtland Air Force Base Perform and document routine and non-routine maintenance operations Collect water samples for laboratory analysis on a routine basis for system monitoring Maintain and optimize the performance of extraction and injection wells Promote and model a strong safety culture across all project activities Work with the project engineer and project manager to foresee and prevent treatment plant operational issues Respond to minor infrequent system upsets on a 24-hour/7-day per week basis in coordination with the engineering team

Required Qualifications
Minimum five years of experience operating and maintaining a water treatment facility Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems Ability to perform or manage maintenance of conveyance, valves, controls, metering, chemical amendment, and water treatment system components. Experience managing or performing maintenance of complex water treatment and management systems including a variety of system controls for minimizing biological growth, scale, and waste and for maintaining optimal pressures, flows, and contaminant mass capture. Good documentation and communication skills Ability to work with minimal oversight Note: This position requires specific driving duties.
You must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer.
Qualifications
40-Hour Hazwoper Safety Training and current refresher training or able to obtain before commencing work 30-hour Construction Safety Training or able to obtain before commencing wor Ability to perform or manage maintenance of conveyance, valves, controls, metering, chemical amendment, and water treatment system components. Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system management software is preferable.
