Location : Baltimore, MD Area (Hybrid, with on-site presence as required by the client) Clearance/Screening: background investigation required Position Summary PBG is seeking a PMP-certified Project Manager to support a highly visible Health IT strategy and project management delivery program.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of IT Strategy, ensuring alignment with mission priorities and federal mandates Provide program and project management support across key initiatives, including Systems Modernization and Shared Services Lead Agile PMO operations, including backlog management, sprint planning, and governance using tools such as JIRA and Confluence Facilitate executive-level meetings, including CIO OKR performance sessions, ensuring clear documentation, action tracking, and data-driven reporting Design and implement communications and Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategies to drive adoption of IT initiatives Strengthen and formalize IT governance frameworks, including documentation and decision-making processes Support IT investment portfolio management, including prioritization, performance tracking, and value realization Collaborate with leadership to shape program actions and ensure successful execution across all objective areas
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
Education Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field Certifications PMP (Project Management Professional) – Required Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP – Required Federal Environment Proficient knowledge of systems, and applications (REQUIRED) Experience supporting federal agencies IT Infrastructure & Strategy Minimum 5 years of experience with enterprise-level infrastructure, including distributed and mainframe environments At least 5 years providing strategic IT guidance, aligned with industry best practices and emerging technologies Agile Delivery & Team Leadership 3–5 years leading Agile teams, managing backlogs, and performing
