About the Position Golden State is looking for a dynamic Manager to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will lead a small, dedicated network team and play a crucial part in the delivery and security of core network services across two arenas (Chase Center and KP Arena) and three office locations (San Francisco, Oakland, and Santa Cruz). This position requires a unique "player-coach" blend of technical network engineering expertise and managerial skills as you will oversee infrastructure projects and mentor your team while simultaneously acting as a senior hands-on resource to assist with network engineering and escalations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the network administration team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, exceptional customer service, and professional growth Assist the team with day-to-day network engineering tasks, providing operational support for WAN, LAN, WiFi, and data center technologies Oversee and maintain network switches (Aruba), routers (Juniper), and next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto Networks) Manage the high-density wireless network infrastructure (Aruba APs, ClearPass, Mobility, Airwave) within our arenas, ensuring seamless performance for fans, media, and operations. 1Q, Dynamic/Private VLANs) and Layer 3 routing protocols Extensive experience with WiFi/WLAN architecture, high-density wireless environments, Network Access Control (NAC) solutions (ClearPass preferred), and next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto preferred) Experience integrating network infrastructure with cloud technologies (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS) and deploying robust VPN solutions (IPSec tunnels).
