Job Summary: This position will perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks on equipment to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions, as well as troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues causing production interruptions, including breakdowns. This position will also provide hands-on training for new and experienced employees.

Responsibilities

: Troubleshoot causes of mechanical and electrical errors. Analysis equipment log data in MES system for problem solving Repair and maintain operating condition machinery or equipment Maintain standard processes and procedures in order to provide consistency across employees and shifts Provide initial and continuous hands-on training for new employees in equipment functions, features, and repairs.

Qualifications

: Minimum of 7 years of maintenance experience in production/plant environment. High School Diploma/General Educational Development or higher degree required. Exposure to dry-room environments with gowning and PPE requirement.

Associate degree preferred or relevant work experience. , journeyperson) *preferred but not required. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience *preferred but not required.

Technical mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience. Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for a period of up to 12 hours. Safety glasses.

Steel-toed shoes. Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours. Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.

Stoop, twist, bend. Reach overhead. Sit and/or stand.

Skills: Production processes. Troubleshooting. Problem-solving.
