Led by an experienced management team and supported by a strong investor group, including large and experienced institutions and strategic partners, EdgeConneX offers a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where we are bringing flexibility, proximity, power, and connectivity to some of the world’s key businesses. With major offices in Herndon, Denver, and Amsterdam, we have a global footprint and a unified team of employees committed to providing a premier customer experience and delivering the full spectrum of data center solutions, from core to edge, like no other data center provider can do. Focused on driving innovation and helping our customers define and deliver their own unique vision for the Edge, at any scale, in any market worldwide, for any requirement, we are building tomorrow’s data center infrastructure, today for some of the world’s most demanding Network, Content, and Cloud customers.
The Customer Package Coordinator (EMEA) supports EdgeConneX Project Managers and the wider PMO in the day-to-day delivery of customer-specific deliverable packages — most notably structured customer deliverables review and closeout processes.
Requirements
are tracked, responded to on time, recorded in the right systems, and closed out cleanly so projects move smoothly from design through ready for service (RFS). The Customer Package Coordinator drives consistency across sites, protects RFS dates by keeping customer information flowing, and is the single point of contact inside ECX for the status of each customer package. This role reports to the Director of Project Management EMEA.
Responsibilities
Run the day-to-day coordination of customer deliverable packages across the EMEA portfolio. Initiate and track customer information requests through customer SME review, response, and close-out; keep the master tracker (register / package log) clean and current, and. Coordinate responses to customer SME comments — chase the right internal owner (engineering, commissioning, operations, general contractor and other partners), consolidate input, and return a clear, on-time response back to the customer.
Manage the customer-facing approval workflow: route items for technical, commercial, and schedule review and pull together sign-off from EdgeConneX and the customer. Maintain version control and audit-ready records of every package (drawings, narratives, RFI responses, redlines) in ECX systems and customer document platforms (Teams/SharePoint, ACC, customer portals). Understand and work with the fact that customers use specific terminology, templates, and gating criteria.
Be able to translate these clearly for those involved. Support the Project Manager and Senior Scheduler in slotting package milestones into the project schedule so customer responses do not put RFS or the base build at risk. Prepare recurring status updates on package health (open items, ageing, blockers) for the Project Manager, and customer cadences such as weekly progress reviews.
Help shape and continuously improve standardised customer-package processes, templates, and trackers with the PMO; coach Project Managers and site teams on how to use them. Embed lessons learned from project and customers across the portfolio. Build and maintain the EdgeConneX library of customer-package lessons learned, so each new project starts with a head start on what the customer expects.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Curiosity and a learning mindset — you want to understand how a hyperscale data center comes together and what each customer cares about. Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable drafting customer-facing responses and reporting up to senior management. Good stakeholder skills — you can coordinate across PMO, engineering, commissioning, procurement, GC partners, and the customer SME without losing the thread.
