Part-Time Optometrist (OD) – Wichita, Kansas Schedule: 4–7 weekdays per month (Monday and/or Friday preferred)

: $900 per day/visit Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099) About the Opportunity Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist to provide high-quality vision care within a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Wichita, Kansas. This role allows you to practice meaningful, mission-driven care without the administrative burden of running your own practice. You’ll serve as an integrated member of a coordinated clinical team supporting senior populations in a predictable, organized setting.

What You’Ll Do

Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope Prescribe corrective lenses and provide treatment recommendations Partner with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient environment What Makes This Role Different This is not a high-volume retail model. CMC optometrists are embedded within established clinic environments and represent our organization directly at each partner location.

Qualifications

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program Active Kansas optometry license Experience with senior populations preferred Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic settings Schedule & Logistics 4–7 weekdays per month (Monday and/or Friday preferred) Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM No nights No weekends No billing or administrative
