Responsibilities

Projects may involve new construction, capital improvements, and tenant renovations, with or without consultants, as assigned.

Manages project quality control inspections, punch list effort and ensures smooth turnover.

Oversees Project handoff to Facilities staff to ensure proper turnover and acceptance of MEP systems, including ensuring all equipment is reported as in service and all paperwork is available. Maintains project management knowledge tools by adhering to standardized departmental processes.
Supports the development and management of Methods of Procedure (MOPs) as needed to minimize operational impacts. Assists in developing creative solutions that enhance facility functionality during construction projects, ensuring seamless operations and minimal disruptions. Abides by all Federal, State of Colorado, and Vail Health safety policies and regulations with special focus on infection control and mitigation practices throughout construction projects.
Performs after hour and weekend coordination of projects requiring Project oversight and input when required.

: Effectively collaborates, contributes, and prioritizes multi-functional coordination within the internal Facilities and Construction Project Management teams and externally with subcontractors or consultants while managing multiple deadlines simultaneously. Vail Health’s representative at the job site responsible for frequent field supervision, coordination, and completion of the project in a timely and quality manner.
Reviews contract documents to ensure alignment with project plans and specifications.
