Responsibilities

3 years of project oversight experience required; healthcare setting preferred. Ability to read blueprints, schematics and diagrams required. Knowledge of use of meters and test equipment required.

Projects may involve new construction, capital improvements, and tenant renovations, with or without consultants, as assigned.

Maintains project management knowledge tools by adhering to standardized departmental processes.

Supports the development and management of Methods of Procedure (MOPs) as needed to minimize operational impacts. Assists in developing creative solutions that enhance facility functionality during construction projects, ensuring seamless operations and minimal disruptions. Abides by all Federal, State of Colorado, and Vail Health safety policies and regulations with special focus on infection control and mitigation practices throughout construction projects.

Performs after hour and weekend coordination of projects requiring Project oversight and input when required.

Vail Health’s representative at the job site responsible for frequent field supervision, coordination, and completion of the project in a timely and quality manner.

Reviews contract documents to ensure alignment with project plans and specifications.
