About The Role

Fora Travel is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and empower a cross-functional sprint team within Fora’s engineering organization. Our team’s mission is to empower a new generation of travel entrepreneurs by building the products, systems, and workflows that attract, convert, and retain the advisors and travelers who rely on Fora every day. We’re looking for someone who can lead a fast-moving product surface — from core platform capabilities and AI-assisted tooling to system foundations and performance — and translate ambitious product goals into a well-executed, scalable solution.

You will partner closely with Product, Design, and Growth to deliver high-impact product initiatives while maintaining a high standard of technical excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing people, energized by platform performance and engineering systems at scale, and excited to shape the digital face of a company in hypergrowth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day execution of the cross-functional team, ensuring strong delivery , clear priorities, and sustainable development practices. Partner closely with product, design, and growth counterparts to define solutions that improve the advisor and member experience across key workflows. Oversee the development of new platform capabilities while continuously improving existing functionality across the team’s core systems and tooling.

Provide technical leadership by engaging deeply with architecture, implementation details, and core engineering fundamentals to guide high-quality technical decisions. Coach and develop engineers through regular feedback, mentorship, and career development support. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that reflects the organization’s commitment to building diverse and high- performing engineering teams.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in engineering management roles with a proven track record of driving successful product deliveries and team growth. 8+ years of experience in software development. Strong technical acumen, with experience making informed architectural decisions, addressing technical debt, and setting robust engineering standards.
