This is an entry-level, part-time role ideal for someone with a flexible schedule who enjoys variety, fast-paced environments, and being part of live broadcasts and community events. What You’Ll Do

: As a Part-Time Board Operator, you’ll support daily broadcast operations and live events while helping protect the quality and integrity of our stations.

Responsibilities

will include: Operating control boards for in-studio and remote programming Regulating program timing, playing commercials, and running syndicated content Monitoring the technical quality and accuracy of incoming and outgoing on-air programming Protecting the station’s license by following FCC guidelines and censoring prohibited content when necessary Processing time-out programming to ensure accurate playback Identifying and reporting technical issues to Engineering to maintain broadcast quality Screening incoming phone calls and selecting callers for on-air talent and talk shows Handling emergency inserts such as breaking news, alerts, and system tests Assisting with basic administrative and operational tasks as needed Representing the station at on-site promotions, live remotes, and community events Setting up, operating, and breaking down audio and promotional equipment Recording live events through photos, video, audio, and social content for station promotions Transporting and handling promotional materials and event equipment What You’ll Bring: Strong desire to learn, grow, and build a career in media Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment Comfort multitasking and taking on
