Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Director, Revenue Accounting to join our team.
This role is crucial for centralizing the revenue accounting function for the greater project-based business and will play a key part in determining the accounting treatment of revenue as the company evolves.

Key Responsibilities
: Oversee the Revenue Accounting function of our business, including daily tracking of revenue progress, building of revenue backlog, forecasting future results, and communication with executive leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Aid in the development and implementation of the centralized accounting function to streamline processes and improve efficiency across the organization. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting by standardizing accounting practices and procedures.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements related to the revenue of our business. Train and mentor accounting staff to build a cohesive and effective team. Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required.
Qualifications
: Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting degree preferred. Minimum of 8+ years of experience in accounting. Experience supporting private equity-backed companies or similar environments experiencing a high rate of change desirable.
CPA certification is a plus. Proficiency in Acumatica or similar ERP is a plus.
