Licensed Veterinary Technician Position – Bozeman, MT AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) Accredited Hospital – Fear Free Staff Our Team at Gallatin Veterinary Hospital is looking to add a Licensed Technician to our team. GVH is in Bozeman, Montana. We are a 5-doctor general practice, open Monday through Saturday.

Candidates must have a passion for veterinary medicine that drives them to provide the highest quality care possible. The ability to prioritize and multi-task is key for this position. This position is not entry level.
Demonstrated leadership abilities preferred. The ideal LVT would help maintain hospital protocols and workflow, to create an outstanding patient/client experience. Giving each patient WOW service by always doing the right thing.
The ability to educate and communicate with the team members and clients is crucial for outstanding patient care. Our LVTs are an integral part of our hospital team. We pride ourselves on having a positive team environment, professional and experienced support staff, and solid leadership.
WHAT YOU'LL DO (Essential Functions)
: • Foster a culture built on our values: Respect, Learning, Do the Right Thing, WOW Service, and Fun • Provide professional, efficient, quality medical care and exceptional service to clients while maintaining maximum productivity • Obtain patient medical history from the client and referring veterinarians as needed • Perform initial evaluation of pet's condition, collect information from client, observe pet's behavior, and checks vital statistics • Complete preparatory procedures and assist the Veterinarian throughout the rest of the examination, diagnosis, procedures, and treatment phases • Restrain pets during exams as needed • Create and maintain patient medical records and documentation • Obtain and prepare various samples including blood, urine, and fecal samples for diagnostic testing.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Essential Qualifications)
: Education: Associate's Degree from a two-year veterinary technology program with accreditation from the American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA).
